【摘要】:ThisEuropeanStandardprovidesinformationonthecharacteristicvaluesforuseindesigningstructuresincorporatingwood-basedpanels.ThecharacteristicvaluesgiveninthisstandardaretobeusedinaccordancewithEN1995-1-1.Whenutilizingtheclassificationsystemforderivationofplywoodcharacteristicvalues,thisEuropeanStandardcanonlybeappliedwithreferencetoEN636.ThisEuropeanStandardincludesthecharacteristicvaluesofthemechanicalpropertiesforplywoodcomplyingwithEN636inbending,tension,compression,panelshearandplanarshear.EN636classifiesbendingpropertiesintotwosetsofclasses,oneforstiffnessandanotherforstrength.Stiffnessandstrengthintensionandcompressionarerelatedtothesamepropertiesinbending.Forshearproperties,fixedvaluesdeterminedbycorrelationtodensityareprovided.Whereoptimisedvaluesareneeded,thecharacteristicvaluesaredetermineddirectlybytestinginaccordancewithEN789andEN1058orbycombinationoftestingaccordingtothelattertwostandardsandcalculationaccordingtoprEN14272.ThisEuropeanStandardappliestopanelscomplyingwiththethreefollowingconditions:?5layersormoreand6mmoverallthicknessandmore;?theratioofthecumulativethicknessofveneersinalternatedirectionsdoesnotexceed2,5;?woodspecieswithameandensitygreaterthan350kg/m3andnotexceeding750kg/m3.
